I'm fairly new here at TalkBass, and I must say there are some great folks on this forum. I'm happy to be a part of the Talkbass family!
I need to sell my 1998 Modulus Genesis 5 string bass (with OHSC).
It's in excellent condition and I'm the original owner.
It has active Bartolini pickups, Granadillo fingerboard, carbon fiber & wood neck and truss rod. 35” scale... cream color.
Unfortunately, I do not play this bass anymore. I used to play in a women’s worship band and I loved the 5-string and clear low B sound. My problem is that the bass is really too big for me (35” scale) and I just don’t seem to progress with my technique on it. I’m playing a smaller scale bass now, which is much more comfortable for me.
Disclosure:
- One very small finish crack near the neck socket (less than 1/4" long in the finish only - see photo)
- Volume pot sounds a little scratchy, but can be cleaned (hasn't been played in awhile)
- The original locking hardshell case has some repaired minor damage to two of the “feet” from getting caught while sliding it into my SUV.
