well, i'm doing a major gear shake up, and i'm thinking of selling the lefay again...it's in mint condition, never been gigged, only played in my smoke-free home...didn't even take it on the submarine! here are the specs for those that don't know:
ash body, black stain
padauk neck, bolt on
padauk fingerbboard, 22 frets + 0 fret
passive electronics
lefay rough crystal soapbars
controls are:
-volume
-4-way selector
1-bridge pickup
2-both parallel
3-neck pickup
4-both series
-tone
abm bridge (20mm spacing)
schaller straplocks and tuners
black hardware
also comes with really nice GEWA padded gig bag
i can send some songs i recorded with this bass...i'll also post some more pics up later today...

It is such an elegant looking bass and I know that the photo just don't even begin to do it justice.

| | Registered User | | Join Date: Jul 2000 Location: st. marys, ga | | | 34" scale, the neck is pretty flat on the back...the fingerboard is radiused, but not that much at all...19mm or 20mm spacing at the bridge...i have no idea how wide it is at the zero fret...it seems to tap ok, but i don't have it set up, really for that...i don't prefer my action super low, but there are lots of lefay players out there that tap the mud out of them... |
