F/S only Fender USA Hot Rod Precision in Sunset Transparent

Sign in to disble this ad
Up for sale is my 1999 MIA Fender Hot Rod Precision in beautiful Sunset Trasparent Orange. Ash body w/Rosewood fingerboard. Weight is approx. 9.5 lbs.

A few small marks and some pickguard swirling from play are all that is keeping me from listing this beauty as near mint.

It has been upgraded with a Fralin matched set of P/J pups that includes a stacked, noiseless, high output jazz pup. Bass is wired Vol/Blend/Tone.

All original electronics are also included.

This bass will ship with a used aftermarket tweed HSC.

I am asking $1,000.00 shipped conus (ship to USA only)

My 2010 American Dlx P takes the place of this bass or it would not be for sale.

PM me for more info.

Pix:

Cheers!!!

If only you shipped to Canada. I had one of these and stupidly sold it and have missed it since. These are great basses with the stock electronics, and your Fralin set up sounds like it would be awesome as well. Good luck with the sale.

Thx for the bump!!

Yep, it's an awesome bass. Too bad shipping to Canada is such a hassle for me or it could be yours!!!

Cheers

Active or passive pickups? Your description says "orange" but at least on my screen it looks more or less red. is it truly orange?

Passive.

With the tort guard, it looks more red, but it is orange.

I put a parchment guard on it and the orange jumps out.

My local music store has a Strat in the same color and it is almost a perfect match...very orange.

I believe they were only made in '99 & '00. Mine is a 2000.

Exclamation

THX for the bumps guys!

This really is a killer bass. Even w/ the stock electronics, this thing rocks.

The Fralins take it to the next level.

Picking up the tweed case for it today.

This is a nice package for the $$$ IMHO.

bump for my favorite bass - I have one and it's served me well for almost a decade!! The color kills too - looks like a vivid red in most dim (club-like) lights . . .

OP I wish I had the scratch and the need for another P . . .

mine

THX for the bump.

All, I will take offers and I will lower the price with just stock electronics.

Hit me up with a reasonable offer and who knows????
