F/S Pedulla Buzz 4 - fretless

Sign in to disble this ad
I must be crazy for selling this bass......

I have to tell you this bass has the most amazing mwah of any bass I have ever played. It is perfect on all strings up and down the neck. The notes blossom perfectly and sustain for longer than you expect.

The bass is very warm sounding, not brittle like some coated fingerboards.

The only reason I am selling this is I have recently been bitten by the Rob Allen bug (thanks Brad) and I try and limit myself to one nice fretless. I don't play enough fretless to have two so sadly, this has to go.

The neck feels close to a jazz in width and string spacing

Some specs:
Bartolini Pickups and preamp
Original HS case
Gold hardware

There are a few dings in this bass. It has been played a lot.
Small one on the headstock just under the E tuner
back of the neck at the 4th fret
there are a few on the bottom of the bass
one on the top edge of the front of the body

The finish is worn on the top just above the P pickup where you might rest your fingers

there is some light ghosting on the fingerboard from the roundwound strings

these are the pics from the guy I got the bass from (bassvirtuoso), I will post more soon.

SORRY, Pulling the BASS - NO LONGER FOR SALE

I will be heading down to Santa Cruz next weekend, I could bring this if anyone is interested. Hit me up.

Everytime I play this bass I start to pull this ad, so be warned.

This bass is the best! I wouldn't have sold it had I not needed the money for rent. One of the best people on TB to buy from, you will not be disappointed!

This bass is more beautiful in person than even the pictures can show, and the wear is very minimal for the age. Great neck and nails that fretless tone!

Sorry for anyone who was seriously considering this bass, but with no serious offers on the table. but I am pulling it.

It is just too good of a bass to let go. I am sure Dave would agree, this is a special bass.

Look for a slew of other basses up for sale soon.

I guess I will have to start playing more fretless.

Exclamation

Ok, this is back on the blocks for now. $1400 shipped for one of the best fretless basses out there.

This bass is capable of microtonal leaps in harmony, but lands on it's feet like some kinda flame maple cat. This bass will teach you how to play fretless, seriously.

Absolutely Tom. I live near Auburn, but I will be in Rancho Cordova tomorrow and can bring it with me.

Just shoot me a PM where you would like to meet up.

Thanks for the bump!
