That looks like a very cool and useful bass, I don't recall ever seeing one.

Forgive my ignorance, but do they really go for $1000? I'm not arguing the price, it might be much more of a collector piece than I realize.

There is a clean one on eBay right now competing with my matched pair (Bass and Six String Guitar) however they do go for 700-900 dollars in "Good" condition and I've even seen them fetch that kind of money with changed tuners.

I sold one a couple of weeks ago for over a grand plus shipping, I guess the collector value factors in there somewhere.

Oh yeah...original strings too! Try finding another. And these basses are quite gig worthy. How many Hand Crafted Basses do you see out there for less?

I wish someone would buy this. I had 4 and I'm keeping two....It's a shame to let it lie around.
