Well I'm just a 4 string player at heart so here I have my Squier Affinity Jazz V up for sale. I tried this bass about 4months ago in Guitar Center and had serious GAS pains for a few weeks. I had to go back and get it.
It's put together extremely well for squier. Neck pocket is tight, tuners work good, bridge is nice. Nice low action, no fret buzz, sounds killer. I did have a friend of mine make a few slight changes. Here they are:
-The orginal cap was replaced with an orange drop cap. Original included.
-The original output jack was replaced with a switchcraft. Original Included.
-All cavities are shielded and grounded. You still get single coil hum if you favor one pickup to the other. And I notice if I get really close to a computer monitor or TV screen it hums but I hear thats normal with single coils. Otherwise its dead silent.
-String retainer was moved to go across all strings, its a little scratched cause one of the screw heads was stripped upon removal, both screws were replaced.
-Neck shim I belive a business card is in there.
-Strung EADGC with D'addario XL's I will include a B string from the set as well.
It has some shop wear, light scratches on the body. One ding that I couldnt photograph on the back of the neck right by the third fret, hardly noticable though. 2 of the control knobs have small cracks but are still intact. and theres a scratch on the chrome control plate.
Price now lowered to $135 shipped to the US. For an even $155 I can have it shipped out in either an old beat up hardcase (i have to charge more for the weight, the case is beat up and has my old, old band name spray painted on) or a Brand New Fender Deluxe Gig Bag with the tags still on it. Paypal, money order, or check is cool. You can also check my ebay feedback ID: Powerman0087X. If you have any questions feel free to PM or ask me here. Now on to the pics!
