F/S Squier Classic Vibe 60s P (red) and Vintage Modified 70s Jazz (natural)

Hi,

I've decided to take a brake from playing and will be parting out my gear. I'm also going to be moving into my own apartment very shortly and can't haul a lot of stuff.

The first bass is a Classic Vibe 60s Precision Bass bought from Guitar Center in Cherry Hill, NJ in July or August. It's the Fiesta Red model with a high-mass bridge and thumbrest. It is strung with the stock strings which sound fine, if a little clanky. I have installed some pearloid topped dome knobs, but I will include the original ones if you wish.

There is a tiny ding on the headstock under the "Precision Bass" text, see the photos for details. There is another tiny ding on the body between the strings and the knobs. Otherwise there is no damage anywhere and it hasn't left my house. I think I will put this at 200 plus shipping and see where it goes.

The second bass is a Vintage Modified 70s Jazz Bass, the natural model with blocks and no binding. This one is a bit older and is strung with DR fat beams, I believe.

It has the standard scuffs that you will find on all used pickguards and a couple of light scratches on the control plate. There is a small ding on the headstock and a larger dent right next to the bottom strap horn, about 3/4 the size of a dime in diameter but very shallow. I accidentally dropped it about 1.5 feet while loading it into the car after I bought it. I will let this one go for $150 plus shipping.

I will sell both basses together (but shipped in separate boxes) for 325 shipped!

Sorry, I'm not looking for any trades at all. Everything must go!

Shipping will be around $60. Why so high? Well, I insist that all of my sold basses leave in a basic gig bag (with extra newspaper padding by me), and then I use a local shipping company to do the packing. I have shipped multiple basses this way with no issue. They take their time and use the right materials.

I prefer to ship via UPS but FedEx is sometimes a little cheaper. The bass will be insured for its "new" value.

All payment is via PayPal only. I generally ship within 48 hours of payment clearing into my account.

Thanks! PM me with any questions or offers.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that 10 percent of this sale will be going to the American Red Cross' Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami Relief Fund. I will supply you with a screenshot/receipt of this donation after the transaction is completed.

Excuse the poor photos, they are my "let's just get them done at 4 AM" job.
