Here is a great no frills fretless for a great price. Utile body which looks like mahogany, 3 pc. maple neck with graphite stiffening bars . These Status necks are very comfortable to play on and the side markers wrap around onto the face of the fingerboard, Two Hyperactive pickups with a Vol. Pan and a third control knob that acts like a variable bright switch.
The fingerboard is an extremely hard piece of Rosewood. It has had roundwounds on it for 6 years now and only faint lines are visible with absolutely no digging or missing wood. There are some fingernail digs around the neck pickup as seen in the pics. and some "worming on the back of the body ,but overall is in really nice condition. I wouldn't say this a tone monster, but it has a real woody and punchy tone somewhere between Percy and Jonas.
If you want a quality fretless for not alot of dough this is a fine choice. Will come in a "Gig" brand gigbag.
