OK, so here is a Fender FMT. It isn't a photo finish, it's actually flamed maple
. It's a great jazz bass with a 3 band pre with controls being volume/blend/mid/treble/bass. It's a wonderful bass but I have basses that cover the ground this one does and are more comfortable for me to play.
It's in excellent shape with some minor finish abnormalities. Mainly some light swirling and pinhole sized dings. The last owner changed out the bridge and put in a BAIII which is very nice, and he swapped out the tuners for Hipshot clover ultralights. Of course they didn't fit in the standard holes so new holes were drilled. It was done professionally so it's nice and tidy and the tuners are superior to the stock ones IMO. The knobs were initially gold but the last owner changed out the knobs for silver but it appears as though a couple of the knobs were too large for the pot shafts so you have two gold and two silver knobs. I will be getting a new set of gold knobs for it. The bass comes with the OHSC which is also in excellent condition.
the sound is crazy good with Jazz tones and much much more. It is a truly great bass but I can't justify keeping it. I'm open to 4 string trades of equal value but I won't be able to add cash to anything.
