F/S/T Guild Burnside Crossbow (Headless)

Sign in to disble this ad
For sale here is an old Guild Burnside crossbow I buyed from another TBer. I am parting with it because I am a short scale guy.

I am looking for 300$ US plus shipping. NOW PAYPAL VERIFIED! I accept paypal!
Quote taken from the original sale.

The good:
- I had it strung up and it plays great! The action is low and the frets are good (some wear, but not much).
- The neck is in great condition with only a few marks.
- It has cool boomerang inlays on the fretboard.
- It has a zero fret.
- It's neck-thru.
- All the bridge pieces and other hardware are there and in good condition. All the hex-head screws, saddles, and string claws are there. And with the exception of some screw heads and pole pieces, the hardware is rust-free.

The bad:
- The lower 'rear' horn has a chunk missing from it. There are numerous other chips and dents on the body.
- There are cracks in the finish on what is now the jack. I don't know if it is in the wood.
- The hook to hang the bass on the head piece is missing.
- It is missing the black plastic cover over the battery compartment.
-Takes double-ball strings. (Some may look at that as a bad thing simply because they're not as readily available as regular strings.)

Now with a
-Dimarzio P bass pickup
-GHS string(Almost new)
-Artec jazz pickup
-3 way switch
-Vol/tone

Please be kind for my first sale, I am a little stressed!

I was the previous seller for this bass. I bought the bass with intentions of stripping it down, making a clean cut where the piece of wood is missing, adding a piece and blending it in, and then repainting it to make her perfect again. I just didn't have the time to do any of those things.

It's actually a pretty simple project for anyone that wants to get their feet wet w/ some finish stripping, minor woodwork, and refinishing.

Good luck with the sale. I like the upgrades and the bass definitely has some killer potential to be a unique head turning rocker of a bass.
