F.S./T. Pavel Aryel Signature 6. Ash, Exhibition Walnut Crotch...

Sign in to disble this ad
Relist with better pics and now for sale!

Pavel Aryel Signature 6 string.

7 pc body with Exhibition Walnut crotch top and back. Swamp Ash core and contrasting laminates.
7 pc maple/Wenge neck with contrasting laminates.
Bound Macassar Ebony board.
Bartolini pickups and preamp.
Piezo bridge saddles.
34.5 " scale.
Weights 9.8 lbs.
Hard case included.

This bass is awesome but I can't handle six strings (I did it again!!).... People call this basses "Fodera Killers", I owned a couple Foderas and yes, they're up there (not as nice as my R-Basses, I haven't played anything better IMHO).

The controls are: vol/bal/piezo vol/mid (pull up for passive operation)/stacked bass and treble. Series/parallel switches and 3 position mid switch.

Asking $4800 shipped and insured. That's about half the price off a new one. This bass is basically new, completed this year. The price is not set in stone but I will ignore low-balls and silly offers. International buyers OK, but you'll have to take care off all the shipping/packing costs.

Trades: 5 stringers of the same caliber only plus cash on your end, or will do 2 for 1. Interested in neck thru Smiths, MTDs, Alleva Copollo, Roscoes or?

Feel free to ask any questions and thanks for looking!

Haven't bumped this in a few days.

I've been playing this bass for the last few days and I like it more every time I play it, but I feel more "at home" playing 5ers. I know someone out there wants this bass and I'm not in a hurry to sell it or trade it.
I took it to my local luthier and he's making an Ebony ramp, the bass will come with the ramp at no extra cost. I'll upload some pics as soon as I get the ramp (about a week).
