TRADED!!!

F/S/T SKB 3006

Exhibition Quilted Maple Top and Bird's eye Maple FB. The pictures don't do it justice. The switch closest to the neck was utilized for an Audere preamp z-mode switch that has been removed and replaced by a Bartolini preamp. The switch closest to the bridge switches the Nordstrand Fatstack pickups between dual and single coil mode. I spend 99% of the time in single coil mode. It has a very small ding that doesn't go through the top coat on the top edge of the bass. I am looking to fund a nice 5 string bass. Sale price would be TRADED$2100TRADED shipped in US. International shipping extra. Trades considered plus/ minus cash.

Spec's
Exhibition Grade Quilt Maple top
Antique Yellow finish
35" Scale - 24 Frets
Spanish Cedar body
Roscoe Bartolini preamp
Nordstrand Fatstack pickups
Bird's Eye Maple FB
Diamondwood nut
Black hardware

Fingerprints shown are not included and will be removed prior to shipping...

Beautiful. I have a couple of 3006 and considering putting in the Fatstacks. Can you describe the difference switching to single coil? I have bart/bart in my basses.

IMHO, the fatstacks lean more towards a really strong, aggressive jazz tone especially in single coil mode. I notice a much stronger, more articulate low mid growl in single coil mode using finger style playing. I initially got the pickups because I like to fool around with slapping quite a bit and these pickups have a great slap tone. The dual coil mode smoothes out the tone and makes it more airy with a higher top end...if you will.
