I just got this bass but I also got a couple of custom R-Basses so I won't be playing this bass much. This bass deserves to be played!!
This bass covers a lot of ground tonally. The J/MM pickup configuration is very versatile, and the Bartolini preamp lets you tweak it however you like. You can go from the burpy back J pickup tone, to a MM tone, to a P bass tone with plenty in the middle. I really dig the fat sound of the MM pickup soloed. Juicy! Warrior basses setup and play like no other bass out there. Like all Warriors it’s small, light, and balances perfectly. Specs are:
