Hello Gang,
I have to let this lovely Zon find a new home for $2100 shipped CONUS only.
Here are the down and dirty specs. All upgrade work done by Zon Guitars:
Top-Quilted Maple
Body-Ash
Weight- 10.1 lbs (Big-Boned)
Pickups- Seymour Duncan "Narrow Aperture" Humbuckers
Scale- 34"
String Spacing- 17mm
Case- Zon Gigbag
You can get more detailed info & pics from the following posts by TomBowlus and Vic Serbe. Zon Sonus 5 w/ upgrades Zon Sonus "facelift"...
It's in the exact same condition as when I purchased it just under a year ago from Tom Bowlus. I have a 2 year old, so it's been locked away for his safety and my sanity It actually never left the house, but was played often in the wee hours of the morning, before "Monster Boy" awoke to wreak havoc, (Picture Godzilla & Tokyo)

I have incredible basses (as do you) - I don't need different gear so much as I need to improve myself.

I can definitely attest to this being a great Zon. The ONLY reason I sold it is because I just ended up liking my older one better and rarely played this one as a result. Lost a buncha money in the upgrades, but hey, I just consider it "giving back", so that makes it a bit easier. |
