Capable of very low action while remaining clean sounding. Embodies the famous "warwick growl". Back of the headstock is signed by Victor Wooten.
I picked this bass out of the lot because of the smoothness of the neck and its superior wood grain pattern to its peers. Sad to see this one go, but unfortunately i'd rather pay rent this month!
Looking for $650. Includes warwick surface finisher and Levy's gig bag.
Bass is in NYC. Will post more pictures.

| | | | How is the action on this bass? Also, how straight is the neck? Is there any signs of warping? Thanks! |

| | Registered User | | | | | The action is currently quite low. Perfect for tapping and chordal stuff up high on the neck. There is no sign of warping, but that said, it hasnt been set up in a long time. I've got a great guy in the city who does amazing set ups for a small fee. |

That's a nice piece of wood anyway... the top wood grain is awesome !! |

| | Registered User | | | | | Hey fellow TBers. Sorry for the lack of response on here. A friend at the NYC Warwick Custom Shop recently took in the bass to sell on consignment. Unfortunately, for the price he is asking, it hasn't sold thus far. FORTUNATELY he did give the bass a professional set up, a set of new strings, and a new input jack replacing the original that he found was about to become unreliable, unbeknownst to me. All in all, about $200 worth of work by his estimate.
This bass is still for sale at $650, not including shipping.
In response to all the weight talk, yes my scale was inaccurate and the bass is more in the 10-11 lb range. Anyone still interested?? |
