Cool F/T Beautiful 2001 Warwick Thumb BO with Figuring

Sign in to disble this ad
[EDIT: I am looking for a trade for either a 4 or 5 string. I need something with a neck pickup. I am not a fan of Fender. I like basses with interesting wood finishes. I like thinner necks with wider string spacing. More than anything I'd love to trade this bass + some cash for a Roscoe, though I recognize that's a tough find. Thanks for looking!]

Hey,
I got this bass about a year ago. I normally play a 4-string 1999 Warwick Thumb 4 NT and thought this would be a good addition. I had already been used to the wider and thinner neck of my BTB 1205 Prestige and I never really warmed up to this bass as much as I should have. In addition, the neck is a different style than the one I am used to on my 4. Anyway, that's why I'm asking to trade.

The bass itself is in beautiful condition and comes with a hardshell case. As you can see in the photos, it has some rare and absolutely beautiful figuring on the bubinga. Before I moved out of NYC a couple months back, I had this thing completely tuned up and perfected at the Warwick Custom Shop on 7th. The guys in there complimented the bass on what an amazing example of the model it was. It's 100% original and plays and sounds beautifully.

I'm looking to trade for another 5-string (or 4-string), preferably with a bit wider spacing. I love unique and basses so am open to a wide range of options. I could be convinced to sell it, but probably only for more than most of you are willing to pay. This isn't your standard 5-string BO. I'm looking for around $1300-$1350

Anyway, take a look at the photos and PM if you are interested. I can take more photos too if you want and can get you more information/samples if you need.

Rock on! \m/
