CANT EDIT TITLE, LOOKING FOR SALE or AMP trades.
Amp took a major crap today, and I gotta get her patched up, a service no one seems to want to do for free. Anyone interested in swapping for a head of similar value I might do, but considering the shipping PITA, I think money will end up talking.
$700obo!
Hey all, got this darn nice looking GT-7 fretless that is just looking for a good home. Unique, beautiful defret job and one amazing neck in terms of construction and ergonomics. I would call it a lined fretless, but they are more of a brownish color and at a distance or in low lighting you can barely see them. To save my fingers the typing here is a link to the thread I got it from. GT-7 Defretted FT/FS now
It is currently strung for a low F#, but the 34" is better suited for low B. The defretting and fingerboard coating are super nice, and there is only one spot of damage, a little crack where the neck and body join where the conklin's are really thin. Doesn't affect stability or playability at all and is pretty easy to not even notice. I just can't play the darn thing to be perfectly honest, my hands are to small and my talent even more so. It's surprisingly playable dimension wise, but I am jsut a little more comfortable with something smaller.

VEry dark and manly shade of purple in the purpleheart The body finish has a lot more visual "texture" than those photos show too. Soem of those shots make it look a little bit dull, but it's got much more depth in person. THe string issue was kind of my hang up on it for me as well or it wouldn't be on the chopping block.

Lets say $725 to your door CONUS, and restricting trade offers to 35" 6s or 35" 24 fret 5s only. Lots of very reasonable offers for other stuff, but I gotta have that low B.

| | Registered User | | Join Date: Feb 2006 Location: Southern Minnesota | | | PM I have a GT7 fretted. Neck is wide, but thin and very playable - and my hands aren't that large.
I had a Hanewinckel 7 at one time and my GT7 has the same playability and close to the same sound. Don't need to go "boutique" for a great bass.
Good luck on the sale.

He has it right folks, sweet bass here. OF course if you're not man enough for a fretless 7....
Jokes of course. In any case, getting very slightly desperate to fix this amp. Willing to take just about anything as long as it comes with a couple hunj to get the amp up and running. Help me out folks, after 2 years of flopped bands I have two promising prospects right now, and without a rig I am just some bum who comes over to drink their beer!
