It's in great shape, and sounds incredible. I'm just a GASing gearholic with limited fundage, and my Roscoe gets most of my gig time lately.
You know the model by now. It has the famous MM two band preamp with no center indents. It sounds fabulously aggressive. Old style MM bridge with mutes. Stunning coral red color, with a tinted maple birdseye neck and a rosewood board. It will come with the pictured white pearl pickguard, and the original white guard that came on the bass.
I'd consider just about anything of equal value. I may be willing to downgrade a bit if you want to ad some cash. I'm not interested in beginner models though. Please, no Squier, MIM Fender, Rockbass, GL Trib, low end Ibby, etc. I prefer 5's, buy may consider a 4 if it's cool. Worst that can happen is I say no. An ideal trade would be an American Deluxe Jazz 5, a Musicman Big Al 5, A Spector Euro 5, or a 4 string Nash...maybe a Gibson T Bird. Let me know what ya have! I'd also be into another Classic 5 if it had a maple board.

He wanted the rosewood board, and I prefer a maple board, so this bass will probably still be available, but later this week, it will be wearing a nice flamed maple board. Pics after it is swapped. |

I had this bass at my house for a couple of months and it's a really amazing instrument.
And, the color is amazing in person (and not available anymore, to boot).
If it had come to me with the maple fretboard, he wouldn't have gotten it back.... |
