How is that combo of pups? Sounds right up my alley.

The pups have a very cool sound. I have only gigged with this bass 3 times, but when I have, I have mainly used the Nordstrand Musicman pups, which are a bit more aggressive than the big singles. The volume of each pup is controled by its own vol knob, so it is easy to dial in any sound that one wants.

I could add cash with a markbass F-1 and a 4 string MIJ fender 75 reissue...i know it isn't what you want, but worth asking, as i would love another chestnut R-bass to go with my 4 stringer.
