| F/T, possibly F/S, 60th Anniversary American Standard P5 Up for trade is a very nice 2011 American Standard P5. It is in very good condition - no chips, cracks, or gouges. There is wear on the back of the body from belt buckles, or buttons, or what have you. nothing major, definitely not through the paint, and not visible to the camera, but you can see them with your eyes for sure. Nothing on the front, nothing on the neck.
This bass comes with all the original accessories - strap, patch cord, tools, hang tag, and of course the Fender hard shell case. It is a very, very good bass. The neck profile is awesome, and it sounds big and meaty like a good P bass should. I love the sound, and I love the neck (action can get really low on this one), but the 19mm spacing is not my preference.
I have two choices - keep it and adapt (not out of the question), or trade it for an 18 mm 5 string that is a little more playable for me. So I am looking for one of the following:
* Carvin SB5000, +/- cash as necessary
* Roscoe Century Standard 5 Plus, plus cash from me
* Alleva Coppolo Tom Barney LM5/RA5, plus lots of cash from me
* Bergantino IP112 (original, not ER) - It's not an 18mm 5 string, but I want one...
I am partial to maple fretboards, but am willing to discuss others. Please do not offer Music Man or Ibanez basses, they are fine for those who like them, but they are not for me. I am able to add cash as appropriate for the right bass. I am willing to entertain cash offers, I figure the value of this is about $1000, give or take.
