F/T04' MIA Fender Jazz

Sign in to disble this ad
I had this up in another thread but the other bass in the thread sold so I am making a new one.
2004, S1 switch. Replaced stock cap with a Sprague 400v .047 cap (real deal not ceramic) ect ect... The pics will tell you the rest. OHSC.

I would not be heart broken at all to keep this. I love the way it looks and feels. The only reason I am still considering trading it is because I would really like a P bass. If it doesnt move then I will be happy keeping it and having a P pup installed in it next month. ( wife said she would have it done for me if I want)

So I would be interested in a MIA Fender P basses, or possibly a Warmoth P bass (depending on build). Plus an outside chance of a Warwick. Especially an older 90's Fortress.

I really only want to get a P bass out of this. If I sold it I would need to get enough cash to get a P bass. So a good $800 or so. not including shipping.

The only MIM P basses I would consider would be newer ones. I used to own one and it sucked. (older one) People are saying the build quality are pretty close now. Just the MIA's get the more choice cuts of wood.
I would consider a MIM P if it had pick-up and pots upgrade, bridge upgrade and non plastic nut. Maple board a plus.
Then ofcourse some cash on your end.
