Fabregues 5 String - Ash body with quilt maple, Wenge neck and board!

So I got this as part of a two for 1 deal and while it's a REALLY cool bass, it just doesn't fit my tonal needs.

From what I can find, Fabregues basses were made in Puerto Rico, have custom Bart electronics and honestly, I'm pretty dang impressed! If it was a bit closer to what I want tonally, I'd be all about it!

The bass is an ash body with a quilt maple top. The neck is wenge, as well as the fretboard. It will come with a TKL hardshell case. Cosmetically, there is wear on the pickup covers as well as one of the inlays is a bit funky, but nothing that affects your playing.

I'm asking $1500 for the bass or trade for a presonus Studio Live 16.

Pepe Fabregues a very talented luthier who no longer makes basses.

This is a deal. Pepe's basses are very versatile.

It should be a 35" scale.

Sorry for taking so long to get back.

19mm spacing and it weighs in at about 10-10.5 lbs. This was measured by the ohsoaccurate step on the scale without the bass, then with the bass.

Yes, I know I need to get a postal weight or something!

I actually answered that in a PM, so here's what I wrote:

The bass is a very "big" sounding bass. It's most definitely the loudest bass I have at the moment. Modern sounding, with a good amount of "woodiness" due to the wenge I think.

All in all, a really nice bass, but just not what I need.
