This is an Ibanez ATK-300 that I bought new in 1996 (I think that was the year.) It has a Moses Graphite MM-144 MusicMan lined fretless graphite neck, real Schaller BM tuners (black, and expensive!), black string T, black Schaller straplocks, upgraded input jack, and a custom-cut MusicMan pickguard. Also included will be a non-original hardshell case with plush red interior, and the original pickguard.
This bass is a tone machine. String-through body, currently strung with Chrome flatwounds. I liked this bass better than the Stingray 4's I had.
I am selling this at a fraction of what I've got in it. You will be happy with this bass!
I played the heck out of this (body) in the nineties, so there are some scratches on the body, but the ATK's are tanks so it's in really great shape for it's age. There's a fingernail-sized chip in the finish near the neck pocket. The headstock had a very tiny hole accidentally drilled through it when the tuners were installed, but it's been filled with black putty and isn't noticeable at all from 3 feet away (wouldn't show in photo.) There is also a surface only hairline crack between two of the tuners on the headstock face, but again this is not noticeable from 3 feet away, and does not affect anything but cosmetics and only on very close inspection. Neck playing surface and back of the neck are in great shape. Also, there are 3 or 4 small holes in the body from the original pickguard that are filled with black putty and only noticeable up-close in the right lighting. (Would not show in pics.) Currently setup with low action. The truss rod on the neck has never been adjusted (and has never needed it!)
No trades, as I need some quick cash. Thanks.
