By the way, that is a very helpful tone review that you posted. I wish more people would do that!
Now, George's fretless basses tend to be very picky when it comes to strings. They like F Bass strings! Didn't you say that you were going to try another set? I mean, I put a set of Super Steps on my F six once and they wouldn't ring clearly...and they are Very close to the La Bella F's. Just wondering about your experience.

Just waitin on you man!!!! LOL!!!
I did try the GHS experiment, which gave me a thicker set of strings but ended up making me go right back to the LaBella/FBass set.
They just work better. No other way to put it. Definitely will work with you on a trade plus cash and/or a smokin deal! |
