Cool FBB Custom #19 4 string fretted

Sign in to disble this ad
I have decided to part ways with my beautiful FBB custom.

Plays and sounds beautiful.

Specs:

-34" scale, Cocobolo fretboard, 4-string fretted
-Bartolini split-coil 9J pickups
-Bartolini NTBT 2-band active EQ
-Active/passive switch
-Volume/Pickup pan/Bass/Treble knobs
-Gotoh 201 bridge, string-thru body, Gotoh tuners
-Matched Black Walnut top on a Poplar core
-5 piece neck-thru-body of maple-purpleheart-maple-purpleheart-maple

All other spec questions and raving reviews can be answered in the thread I purchased from a few months back:

FBB Custom Matt Schmill #19 4 string fretted FS

Only issue is the volume knob crackles a bit passing through a certain position. Besides that plays and sounds amazing.

There is normal wear and tear on the bass, no major cosmetic flaws.

Stock photos:

$700 shipped Will ship in a crappy gig bag. Paypal accepted.

I'm now open to trades, nothing really in particular. Really would love to get a 5 string bass or any eden gear. Shoot me a pm, let me know what you have.

I will take a few more photos when I get home tonight.

Killer deal on a killer custom

+1 for an awesome FBB.

I've foolishly thought of parting with mine a couple of times, and glad now that I didn't.

Great deal here for someone - still amazing to me these basses go for as little as they do, all things being equal - the one I got feels like a bass worth 2 or 3 times more than I paid for it.

Beautiful bass .... I have #20, a fretless 6 with the same neckwoods. If I played 4's this would be gone ....
