Would not even consider selling my 1st new bass except for the financial hole I find myself in. I sold a motorcycle and decided to finally learn bass guitar in my late 50s after giving up the dream as a teenager.
This beauty was bought from Bass Northwest in early 2012 as a clean one-owner with the decals and all case candy still intact. I looked in vain for ANY sign of use, and couldn't find it. This bass was so beautiful I was actually afraid to play it, and immediately bought a Squier jazz to use as my "learner" bass.
I took it down to my local music store and had them put on a custom "mirror" pickguard, as I liked the chrome look. They also installed both ashtrays, which had been still sealed in their bags. I have the original black pickguard, which will go with this bass along with the chrome one.
It got very little playing time, and never left my living room. I was deathly afraid of putting the first ding or scratch in it. Now that I must let something go, it may as well be the one I'm afraid to play!
Stock strings are still on it, the OHSC (AFAIK
...it's a Fender case, & it's the one that Bass Northwest shipped it in) is also included, as is the nearly worthless Fender "strap" & some other case candy.
I'm putting it out there to see if there's any interest at $1195.00 shipped CONUS. PayPal preferred. The ONLY trades I would consider would be partial w/cash, and would include:
Peavey T-40 (natural, sunburst or black)
Peavey T-45 (any)
Peavey T-20 (any)
Fender Squier Classic Vibe Precision 50s (Butterscotch only, SD SCPB pickup a definite plus)
Here's the pics I have on hand right now. This is what it looks like presently. If you want any closeups or different pics, please message me and I'll do my best to get them to you.
