This has been one of my Go To Basses because of it's Tone, its Light Weight (Barely 7 Lbs), and because it is a JOY to play! It has some Play-Wear, and some Rash on the back of the body, but no Major Dents, Dings, or Damage.
This was Warwicks "Entry Level" bass prior to the Rock Bass. But it is Made in West Germany, and is EVERYTHING you would expect from a "Real" Warwick.
The Light Wieght & Warm Tones come from the Carolena body. It has a Wonderful Wood Grain Pattern.
The Pickup is a Passive Single Humbucker. The controls are Volume & Tone. The Vol Knob pulls up for a Nice Single Coil/Jazz sound.
The Neck is Ovangkol, but is the same shape & size as a Wenge Neck. The nut is 1.5", and this beauty plays smoothly, and Really Growls!
This ws Made in July, 1999...
The boards are Wenge, of course!
This Beauty ships in a Warwick Rock Case.
The price is $500. Any takers?
