This is an extreme feeler as I'm not sure I want to part with this gem, but I want to see what else is out there. I have a near mint 1983 Fender Elite II Precision Bass with original Fender case. I'm not the original owner, but this bass looks pristine. I really cannot find anything wrong with it. There are no nicks, dings or gouges.
Ideally, I'd like to trade, but if I'll offer it up for sale at $1499 shipped in the CONUS. I know the price is high, but I'd really like to trade and you won't find this bass in this condition anywhere else.
PM me with any interest or offers. Here are pics: |

I'll also drop the price to $1300 shipped, I had some unexpected bills come up. |

I'm pretty open minded, but specifically I'd be interested in Spectors, Warwicks, Laklands and Fender Jazz basses. I'm down for a trade plus cash or an outright purchase.
I just returned a ton of PM's, there are a couple of great offers out there. |

Thanks! It plays and sounds even better than it looks. I would get a tort guard for it, but I figured that it was best to keep a 25 year old bass all original, especially for the condition its in.
A few more PM's replied. |

A few more PM's replied. | Good luck FINDING any kind of guard for the Elite series! I had to order a Vintage P-Bass and have PickGaurdian NOT drill the control holes. Then I had to route out the pickup ends to be round, and drill out the controls using the old guard as a template...In fact I still have a Pearloid one to do for my Elite I
I do miss my Elite II though...

I do miss my Elite II though... | Wow, I had no idea that it was that difficult.
I got your pics and I'm still mulling it over, you have some great basses there. I may just keep my Elite, it's not easily replaceable. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
