I may regret this but I am not playing much 5 String lately so I'm thinking of maybe selling this and purchasing a MM SR 5 to replace it and put some money back in my pocket. I reserve the right to back out of this decision to sell if I come to my senses. Comes with FBass gig bag. Oh, I forgot to mention it is Mint Cond. Not a ding on it anywhere.
$SOLD.

F Bass Model BN5. See specs. at fbass.com

Great bass!
Why it's so difficult to find a FBass with a rosewood/ebony fretboard ?

I think George makes most of the BN5 models with maple. I think he talks about it on his website.

[Laughing!] It's funny, but I'm guessing most people wish they had a ton of money so they could get stuff like this, but I tend to wish I had a ton of money so that I could get good people stuff like this, you know?

Here's wishin' the best for you, Chris.

Meanwhile, if anyone wants a short clip for how a BN5 sounds, here is a good youtube clip to check out.

I've just played two F-basses, Alain Caron's purple fretted and fretless in his show in Costa Rica... Wow!!! Best basses ever!!!! Love the deep and puch of theses babies... Never played one with maple fingerboard, but if this baby sound as she looks must be simply wonderful!!!
Bump for a sexy bass...!!!

Whoa! You played Alain's basses?! WOW! That would be so cool.

I hadn't even heard of Alain (I'm embarrassed to admit) until AFTER I bought my BN5.

I cannot think of a more versatile bass then a BN5.

You heard that slap clip I posted earlier, now check out this finger style tone, especially about 3:300. Nice, huh?

Yes, sure it was!!! They're incredible basses, just like the guy himself!!! Alain its a great guy, and the concert was simple amazing!!!
In Costa Rica I have been chance to meet some of my bass heroes, and because I'm a "talk-to-everyone" kind of guy, I had the chance to meet them, ask for advices and play their basses... cool experiences and incredible people!!! I've been learn than greatest the player, more human, kind and cool person he/she is too... Music show me lessons about life!!!!

I couldn't resist sharing this clip too.

Here is a killer groove in the mix, done live with an Fbass BN5.
