Need to move FS/FT: USA Cirrus 6 Walnut/bubinga

Sign in to disble this ad
Oh boy....(face palm).....I literally just got this bass last week. I sold my 4 string cirrus because the metal band I was using it in was to be no more. Well.....that didnt happen. Back stronger than ever. So I said to myself....I gotta get another Cirrus. Why not get another 6'r and give it a shot. Well....I've been playing it daily and its just not working for me. The B string isnt me. It doesnt jive with my style. Which is a shame because its an awsome bass.

Since its only been a week, I'm just going to post the origional thread I bought it from so you can see pics.

Peavey Cirrus 6-String FS Feeler

Now heres the deal....I will sell it outright for $1000 shipped anywhere in the CONUS.
Trades I would be interested in would be:

4 string basses with 1.5" or 1 5/8" nut width only!!!!!

Cirrus 4 (most interested in these....NO redwood)
Warwick thumb
Warwick fortress
Modulus Q4
Spector Euro
High end Ibanez 4 strings.
theres a few others I cant think of.

Nice bass, any photos of it now instead of then? I have a Spector 5 I'm thinking of dealing with but still on the fence.

Now vs. then is only about 2 weeks time. Everything in those photos is 100% as it still is. the only thing that has changed are the strings.

I have 2 "edits"

1) on the note of photos above, as I said everything is exactly the same. But if your dead serious and really want to see "today" photos I will take whatever you like.

2) Trades: Still 4 string basses only. BUT...I would consider partial trades especially involving a GK head. 1001RbII, 800RB, maybe 700RB also.
Bass wise just to clarify the only "cheaper" basses I might even give the time of day for a trade plus cash would be something like a Schecter Stilletto Elite or something like that. Amp plus cash, bass plus cash, or bass and amp for those that asked me about partial. No Deans or MIM fenders.

After some thought I would have to add to the trade list any P or PJ basses especially ones with a J neck profile. Warmoth, Fender, ESP, others.

I decided to add to trade bait.

EBMM Sterling. The older "real" sterling. Under the EBMM name. Not the new "sterling bass". You EBMM guys know what I mean.

Prefer HH config but might consider H. Black with rosewood is prefered. But I'm flexible.

(slight possibility I would consider a stingray but it would have to be "the" color combo)
