This is a 62 RI USA Jazz with an 08 neck and a 91 body. This happened because I wanted the older reddish tort pickguard for my 08, but I had to buy the 91 body to get it. When I received the 91 body, I fell in love with its beautiful sunburst slightly aged finish! Much prettier than the 08 body, so I just put the 08 neck on it.
The nitro finish on the body is just beautiful! Looks more like a real 62 now. Everything is stock on the body. Neck is straight off an 08 I recently purchased. Strings are TI flats. Very sweet Jazz. Superb condition with a few light scratches and a couple tiny dings. Amazing for an almost 20 year old nitro finished body. There is some finish cracking at the neck plate around the edges. Overall, this like a closet classic looking bass. The bridge and screws are aged, and the finish is beautiful with a slight aged look.
Not in some big hurry to sell, and would be interested in some trades possibly, and could add cash to a trade if necessary. Really interested in an older 62 RI P (blue, white, SB maybe?) or Berg NV cabs. Nash would be cool, too!
