FS/FT WARWICK fretless Corvette 2001 standard Bubinga !
PICS: http://s65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...KposiWHTnegat/
This 2001 has a super slim bolt-on
Ovankol neck (
NOT bassball bat like the newer ones) with wonderful flaming in the wood grain and exceptional Bubinga body.
I've kept flats on it since I acquired in '08 and kept the
Bubinga body, back of neck and headstock waxed with the provided warwick wax. The previous owner did have roundwounds on it for a small time. Adjustable graphite nut. Bolt on neck. Super low action. Stock passive pick-ups and controls all work great. The Ovankol neck is a bit darker due to being waxed regularly and matches the Bubinga nicely in color.
I'm sure you can see in the picks that there's a few chips on the back of the headstock and one tuning key is missing a machine cover. These are slight issues of wear that I've never even given a second thought to. They're on the back and don't remotely affect the wonderful playability of this bass. These are some of the finest tuning keys I've ever used to. These aesthetic imperfections were there when I acquired it. Nonetheless, this bass is in pristine condition, folks!
$550 with flight case
older well used SKB case can be included instead of flight case for a bit more - (It's been used a great deal; the outer-covering is warped away from the wood but functions well otherwise; great protection for gigging.)
PM me about any trades. Would prefer cash on this one but I'm certainly open to trades either = or +/- cash depending.
