This is just a feeler seeing if there is any interest and what I could be looking to get.

The bass is 1977 serial number B003953. All original Natural with maple, black PG.

Trades of equal value or partial trades plus cash

Don't know exactly what it is worth but I will try $2000 just throwing it out there, willing to negotiate.

Will take better pictures later.

Thanks!

EDIT: As you can see I'm not great with computers.

Bump it to $2000 for knowing the actual production year?

What can I say, I'm a sucker for a deal.

I did make it out to play this bass though, so I bought with confidence knowing it was a great bass. Valentine's day is coming up and I need money.

That's actually a solid offer. It's not often you can make an investment and turn a 10% profit in less than 12 hours. I say you take the money and run!

Cheap shots about pricing are a common occurrence here. What you paid is irrelevant, what it's worth fair market is important and if it's too high it won't sell. Some people get jealous when they miss a bargain, tough luck, you snooze you loose. Usually it's someone that was not at all in the market for your bass in the first place, just too much time on their hands.
I find this puzzling that this TBer would post this. I mean the guy with a $6000 price tag on a Fender Jazz. Not to say his awesome jazz is not worth it. Just sayin' he should be more courteous than this for sure. He really should delete that post from your thread if not request a moderator do it. Issues such as this are properly addressed by PMs... just IMHO. Good luck with your sale it's a beautiful MM!

As for the finish it felt original but im no pre-eb expert. I later found the serial number on a website that carrys pre-eb stingray serials, it was listed as natural with maple and black pg.
