I have recently come to the realization that I no longer really need as many basses as I have. So, I'm looking to see interest in the pieces I have. The only two basses that I am not currently thinking about parting with are my Vaccaro Gen X and my Guild. PM me:

Kubicki Ex-Factor, black, #3220, 4/93. Was services by Phil within the past 5 years. NOT FCS! $1500

Kubicki Key Factor 4, black, rosewood fingerboard, #0071, 10/95. $1200.

Kubicki Factor 4, purple, #2963, 11/90. Has the 9V preamp system and is the 34" scale with no detune lever. Does not have any FCS marking on the headstock, although probably is. Phil told me in a recent conversation that a minute number of these were produced. $1100.

Fender Jazz Bass Plus, Black with maple board, #N3011254, 1993. $600.

Steinberger Q4/Q2(V)2, black, # TN15316, Tennessee production, NOT Music Yo or later, $850.

Steinberger Q4/Q2(V)1, black, #N4587, with Ned Steinberger/Newburgh factory installed prototype piezo pickups (have email from Ned). $1500.

Dan Armstrong Modified Danelectro, its a player, but in better shape then most I've ever had or seen. Has replacement period correct tuners. $600.

Silvertone 1442L, cocoa burst, as minty as you can find. Works but needs tone pot rewired in. $650.

Kramer 650B, all original, has one replacement pickup ring, $1000. There is interest in this, but in case that doesn't work putting it here.

Another bump, maybe the last. Seems there is some but minimal interest. Darn this economy....

...a no. Unfortunately, the one Q5 I originally tried to get on evilBay got bought out from under me with one second to go. All I got is 4's.

Sorry.

Man I had a Q4, and it was HEAVY. All maple body. But man, that sound was wonderful.

I got it because I had once worked for a Steinberger dealer, and that was when I discovered EMG's. Never bought one while I worked there, but always wanted one. I traded it off once I got my Acacia (along with an Alembic and a 74 P bass).

These are a lot of bass for $850.00 (and the v2 has the lighter bodies IIRC)- great value if you ask me. Plus not4 such a radical departure from a standard bass due to the body.

Shame, not very much interest. The Kramer is still in play.

To our overseas friends here, I am sorry, I should have mentioned that at this moment I am not prepared to let any of my ladies head off shore. Unless its to Brazil, and I get to accompany it and give it to the girl in the bikini on the beach.

So, Kubicki's all staying. I hate to do it, but I might just have to contact Ed Roman about the Steinies....

Bumping my thread. Sorry, I missed a couple of your messages here, I was actually gigging! (Yeah!)

For those of you who would like pics, please email me at BassmanRichards@yahoo.com and put in the subject line the bass you wan't pix of. That way I can fire 'em right back at ya.

Definitely ready now to let some of these go...

Definitely interested in the Tennessee production Steinberger Q4, if it's still around. I know I'm a bit late to the game here. I'll shoot you over an email for pictures if you've got them.
