I am not sure I can bring myself to do it, but I was thinking of parting ways with my Yamaha BB1200. This is essentially a Yamaha P Bass but with a neck through body design and reverse configuration P pickup. Made in Japan.
These don't come up much. Not sure if that is because they are rare or because folks never let theirs go. Maybe both? Hooky played this bass on one of the Joy Division records so if there are any fans looking to capture that sound, here it is!
Mine is in a natural finish, all original, and in amazing condition save for a couple of minor scratches on the back and one or two tiny compression dings that are well photographed. Still has what appears to be the plastic film on the electronics cover!
This would come in a case that is 100% structurally sound, but replete with mojo and various stickers.
I was thinking $625 shipped in the hard case to the CONUS.
