I am looking to sell my Fender 1972 Jazz Bass. Alder body, rosewood neck (block inlays).
The body was professionally refinished in Lake Placid Blue. It will come with both a recent tort pickguard and the original white. The bass also had a professional refret done.
Everything is original except the body's finish, the covers (which are from the late 70s), the tort pickguard, frets, and the case (it will ship is a medium duty flight case).
The serial number is 366575. The neck is stamped March 1972, the pots read 304-7107 (stackpole 07 week of 71).
The bass plays and sounds amazing I just have too many basses at this moment and I mostly play active jazz styled basses when I reach for a jazz.
