This is a near perfect mint 1983 Fender P Bass. Olympic White with Maple Neck and Fretboard. I recently acquired this bass. Comes with the original Fender case and even original strings. This bass has not really been played. A church had this as a back up instrument and then a collector purchased it and kept it in its case. Zero fret or bridge wear no issues. This could easily pass for new, finish and neck is glossy like new. Only issues are an extremely minor ding on the back of the headstock and a scratch in the same spot. In the right light you can barely see a little bit of swirling on and near the pickguard. Serial number is E318820. 1.75 at the nut and only 8.2 LBS...
This bass sounds great and is set up and plays perfectly. It is all original although I am not 100% sure about the straplocks that are installed. They are the Schallers Fender useed.
Will sell for $1,500 shipped. Now $1,400 shipped firm..... OK $1,300 Shipped. Buying a new house and need the money...
I had one just like this in 1983 that was run over by a truck In Santa Cruz and have been looking for one like this the last couple of years. After my hand surgeries it is a little too wide for me to play. Bill
