Gonna have to pass this one along as I am just not a 5-string guy. My loss is you gain! This is a classic looking, great playing 5'er, strung up with D'Addario Chromes flatwounds (for maximum thump), and I even installed the ashtray cover (for maximum coolness)! Removable of course.

It will come to you in a gig bag and with a strap.

A few minor dings n' things, the only issue would be that the electronics could stand to be sprayed with some contact cleaner as one or two of the pots are scratchy. She's ready to go though - I gigged with it just last week and it was great! Too bad I found myself fumbling around the neck. Getting drunk at gigs is bad enough as it is; try getting drunk and adding an extra string to your instrument! Yikes!

I've seen different opinions on the string spacing of these. Can you tell me what the string spacing is on this one?

By my measurement the string spacing sits at a comfortable 1.875" (47.6 mm) at the nut as per fender.com. It doesn't feel particularly tight to me by any stretch of the word, as I wouldn't have purchased the instrument if that were the case - I like some room to wiggle my fingers.

Sorry, I should've said string spacing at the bridge. Some say they are 19mm, but it seems like the popular opinion is they are 18mm.
