Fender '51 RI Precision - $425 shipped

Sign in to disble this ad
Like the title says, letting go of my '51 Precision RI. Does have it's share of minor dings, but nothing major. The hardware is beginning to pit/show a hint of rust. Also has a bit of discoloration/wear along bottom edge of fretboard. Plays very well and has a tone that I haven't been able to replicate. I was planning on keeping this one around, but my truck broke down and I need to recoup some of the costs. Need to get $425 shipped, $400 if you can swing a local deal (42743). Will come with a cheap gigbag.

Aw man, Patrick, why do you have to do this to me?! Here I am trying to reduce my inventory and you tempt me with this. I've always kind of GAS'd for one of these, but never got one. But since I already have 3 great P's, I'm gonna' try to resist this one. Don't worry though, it'll go quick!

It should, these are great basses.... I have a 2T burst version and love the playability and thump. I think its the most resonating of my basses from the unplugged tone on her...

thanks for the words guys, you're making me rethink my sale!! I should mention that i'm not really looking for trades, but may be tempted by a nice turntable (vintage or modern).

Sting reissue is a '53 IIRC. It has a contour, this has a slab body.

This bass has been sold.
