I got this recently in a trade here on TB and need to raise some funds for my bands upcoming tour to SXSW. It plays like a dream! It has a fresh set of D'Addario Chromes and Schaller strap locks installed! Comes with the original hard-shell case (a tank) and all of the case candy including the original strap buttons! There is only a small nick in the nitro finish noted in the pictures.
This will only appreciate in value over the years! Buy a piece of Fender history! Quote: |

It starts with an ash body like its 1951 counterpart, with a maple neck and fretboard with a modern 9-1/2" radius and medium-jumbo frets. From the seismic boom of its lowest E to the ringing clarity of its highest E flat, the 60th Anniversary Precision Bass gets its rich depth, definition, and dynamics from a vintage Precision Bass split single-coil pickup. Its knurled-chrome volume and tone controls are elegant in their simplicity and solidly reliable in their effect on the sound.
To further distinguish it as a special instrument created for the occasion, the 60th Anniversary Precision Bass bears a commemorative chrome neck plate honoring six decades of enduring Fender legacy. Finishing touches on this collectible bass include a high-mass vintage bridge, modern tuners, Blackguard Blonde thin-skin lacquer finish, and Fender/SKB molded case.

This is a great bass and great price. I have a sunburst 60th and would love to have a blonde as well, just not in the current budget. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
