Fender 64 Jazz Bass CS Relic

This one hurts folks...ok so you've heard that one before but this is the best Jazz Bass I've ever owned and I've owned a few including a Sadowsky NYC. The color on this one kills and I'm pretty sure it is a one off according to the original owner. It's Teal Metallic and it reminds me of a faded LPB. I wasn't a huge fan of reliced basses because a lot of them are over done IMO, but this one is tastefully done. I had this bass Plek'd at the Lakland factory this year (a $250 value) and they replaced the nut on it as part of the Plek process. It is strung with Lakland flats and it really nails that warm vintage tone. Built in 2007 in the Fender Custom Shop it comes with the COA and a C&G hardshell case along with all the candy and hang tag. The covers were installed at the factory and I picture it with them sitting on the bass and not screwed down. The top pic is closer to the true color and in the link there additional pics that show the relicing I bought this last year right here on TB. Price includes shipping & insurance to the lower 48. I will accept PP or USPS money orders. NO TRADES so please don't ask. I'm listing this at substantial loss, but that is due to the current market and my loss is someones gain. $1900 shipped.

And yours for the askingSeriously the only reason it's on the block is economics and the fact that I've been enamored with playing my Pbass again. When I saw this on here last year I had the same feeling as you....so I bought it and now after changing jobs and taking a huge pay cut (I'm grateful I even have job) it's time to part with it

Very nice! Does this bass have a matching HS? I have a relic LPB jazz just like this and color is similar.

This is tempting, especially since i'll be in Florida in a few weeks. I'd have to sell my current jazz to gather the clams for this one...lord have mercy!

Do you happen to be anywhere near Boca Raton?

Not to far. I'm a little south of Miami in the Kendall area. It's about an 1-1 1/2 hours away from Boca.
