This is the black with cream binding version sold in the US. You know this bass--P/J, passive, smoked black chrome hardwear.

I bought this on TB a while back. It's got only a few dings, and only one that's really noticeable--but it's on the back bottom edge so nobody's going to see it while you're playing. Also, there is a bit of wear on the neckplate and some of the black smoke color has rubbed off the neckplate.

I have attached pics of the dings, and the flash and my bad photo skills make each one look more noticeable than it really is. So, if you are ok with what you see in the pics you'll be pleasantly surprised when you get the bass.

I took this to one open jam. It sounded great and got a couple of "nice bass!" comments. However, I have to sell off a couple things so this is available.

Includes padded gig bag and is wearing new Dunlop nickel roundwounds. $450 shipped or best offer, lower 48 USA only.

TRADES: Will consider a fretless (4 or 5 string) or an "interesting" (whatever that means) fretted 4 or 5 string. Will also consider lightweight/micro heads. +/- cash depending on the trade.

Unfortunately I don't own a scale. I do have a bad back, and this is not a heavy bass IMO (I've owned 30-40 basses). I'd call it "average"--not really a featherweight, but not heavy.

Fret wear is negligible as far as I remember (haven't played this bass in a while), but I will check more carefully tonight or tomorrow.

Don't know the year but will also check the serial #.
