Beautiful Fender American Deluxe Jazz Bass. Transparent Teal finish on ash body with Rosewood board. It’s a 2002 model in excellent condition with a great neck. Original Fender hard shell case and accessories included.
I replaced the 18 volt Fender preamp with a Sadowsky preamp with Vintage Tone Control circuit ($250 plus installation). The Sadowsky preamp is warmer, punchy, and less harsh compared to the stock Fender preamp.
The VTC is essentially a passive tone control that functions when the preamp is engaged as well as when by-passed (unlike the new 2010 ADLX series). I will include the stock Fender 18 volt preamp and associated knobs with the bass. I also replaced the stock white pickguard with a pearloid pickguard.
