For Trade Feeler
I'm itching to try something new, so I'm putting this up to see what's out there. This is a 1997 Fender American Deluxe P-Bass in transparent blue with a maple board. Includes OHSC.
Beautiful bass as you can see...
There is one ding/scratch on the bottom of the bass (see pics). It's in an inconspicuous spot so it is hidden when you play.
As far as trades go, I'm interested in 4-string, fretted basses.
I've never owned a Musicman and I'd love to try one, particularly a Bongo or a Big Al.
If the right trade does not come along, I may be interested in selling. Let's see whatchya got!

Not entirely sure on the trade value - I may have been shooting too high originally, I dunno. There's a new '97 on ebay for $1695 and I've seen sale prices ranging from $900-$1395 on similar models.
I am not overly concerned with the value as long as we're in the same ballpark.

A Bongo would be ideal!!!
I'm a sucker for matching headstocks

I'm fussy with my stuff, and just looking and thinking at that chip/scratch. I'm sure it could probably be fixed. Got to think some more........

I would be able to tell by close examination, but hard to explain. A good luthier can tell for sure if there are any nearby. I will try to search specs as well.
