I bought this recently here from Guy N. Cognito to see if I dig the whole P5 thing. I found that I do so much so that I'm selling this in order to fund a Lull PJ5 soon. The frets are like new, and so is everything about it except for 2 tiny(tiny) surface scratches on the back of the bass near the upper horn. I couldn't get them to photograph well. Some slight swirls on the back but no dings or dents to speak of at all. It comes with a Fender molded case, cord and strap. It plays super sweet and offers a lot of different sounds between the 2 pickups.
$850 shipped.

I still own and play the first one of these I could find in 2000.
Good looking and extremely versatile bass.

Thank you. |

Ya follow that? Sounds kinda wierd prolly, but I've played a lot of P/J's where that was the case, but that J pup looks real substantial...

I used to have one of these, except mine was sunburst. IMHO, these are the crown jewel of the Fender "production" bass line (as opposed to the Custom Shop). If I were to buy ANY new Fender bass, it would be a USA P Deluxe 5. |
