+1 It's the only color they had that matched the inlays.

As far as the price goes I don't mind negotiating a little but selling it at the price you suggest would be too much of a loss. It's in great condition and new ones cost around the same price I'm asking. Maybe a little more.

I'm not sure if they stopped making them. I looked at prices online. You're probably right though because there are a lot of places that said they don't have them anymore.

exactly, the new ones are a standard p/j config. i love these and prefer them to a p/j setup for something a bit different.

Never matters what the seller is asking $$$ It's always the buyer that has the money to spend.

Nice bass, I used to own one in a Tobacco Burst years ago, Another one I wish I would have kept. I would love to be playing one now.

Q: What if someone’s asking price is too high?
A: Sellers are entitled to ask any price they want for their item. Please do not contact a seller regarding their prices unless you’re interested in purchasing the item. Also, do NOT question a seller's price in a For Sale thread. Making offers via PM or email is OK, but thread interference (debating price publicly) will not be tolerated.

This is from the Bass Guitar Classified Forum rules. If you think I'm asking too much and you are interested in buying it send me a pm otherwise pay attention to the rules of the forum. Thanks.
