Fender American Jazz Bass Five

$750 $800 Shipped. I closed the old thread because I had set the price in the title and needed to edit it.

For sale only. United States only. 1999 Fender American Standard Five String. I don’t know what wood it is made of. Ash or alder I guess. I am not sure what you call that color either, kind of a grayish green. Ships in the original case and even still has the little keys to it.

about: I picked this one up in a local deal. I don’t need another bass so here it is. The guy that had it told me that he was the original owner and purchased it in 1999. The serial number matches his story. All pickups and controls work as they should. It has a few small nicks on the tip of the headstock and a small one under the neck near the bottom horn. The worst of it is that the pick guard is scratched up right at the truss rod hole. It looks like someone tried to make an adjustment the wrong way. I took a look at the hex bolt and it is fine it is just the pick guard.

These are the dings. One in the neck its about the size of a pin tip.

This one is ridiculous. But at least he only got the pick guard. The called it the "white finish cover"

Ding near bottom horn under neck. Takes some searching to see this one as it is out of view when played. Its just bigger than the width of a fret.

Top of head stock. Standard small nicks.

That looks a lot like Inca Silver Metallic. One of my friends had one. They sound great. Bump.

Action is not real low. I would say medium, but I have not set it up at all. No fret buzz, and I'm sure you could adjust the truss rod. I just have not messed with it or made any adjustments.
