Fender American Precision (3TSB) and Squier VM Jaguar

Howdy folks,

I'm downsizing the bass ranch. I only need a good Jazz and a combo at the moment, so the following Ric and Precision are for grabs. I just got my motorcycle license, so I want to raise money to buy a bike.

Fender American Precision Standard (Three-tone Sunburst)
[Serial #
US11184204
Approx Weight 9.8 lbs.

This is a great example of what a modern Precision should be. Simple, elegant, with classic looks and smooth lines. I purchased this new from Guitar Center in June, and it was made this year. It came from the top rack and looks like it hadn't been played before. It's strung up with 40-100 D'Addario Chromes. It's mellow, creamy, dreamy, and does a nice, modern rendition of the Motown thump thang with ease.

This Precision is in absolute IMMACULATE condition. I never took any stickers off, and it's always sat on a rack or in its case in my bedroom. The whole bass just feels perfect to me, and the neck is not too thick. It feels just right, and I bet you'll think the same thing.

I installed a thumbrest, pickup cover, and ash tray. I used a Dremel to drill the proper sized holes and used Fender pickguard screws to secure the covers. They can always be removed if you don't care for them, but I think they add a great touch to this bass. The ash tray looks dead on to me, but the pickup cover may appear just a hair slanted depending on how you look at the bass. It's never bothered me.

The bass includes the aforementioned accessories plus Schaller strap locks and a very nice 2" Levys leather strap. It comes with the original Fender ATA case, which is an engineering marvel. This is seriously the best case I've ever seen.

I'm asking $825 OBO shipped!!!

Squier VM Jaguar - Black
I also bought a VM Jaguar as a project/toy bass. It's the P/J configuration (34" scale) and has Elixir strings. I also installed one of the Fender Original precision pickups up front.

Cosmetically it's in great condition. No scratches or dings anywhere. I didn't take any photos, sorry!

Seeing that it's a project bass, I never got around to fixing it up. Right now it needs a new wiring harness. Both pickups are (poorly) directly wired to the output jack.

I'm looking for $175 plus estimated shipping for this one.

The Fine Print
Each bass is for sale only. NO trades will be considered.

Each bass is shipped UPS Ground, insured for the full amount, and requires a signature at delivery. I only accept PayPal.

I always want to make sure your purchase is as expected. I'm willing to work with you if anything happens to your bass in shipping, but I always request that buyers confirm their satisfaction with the bass ASAP once it's delivered.

When PMing me, please mention the name of the bass you're inquiring about within the subject line.

That said, thanks for looking, and feel free to PM me with reasonable offers and/or questions.

(The pickup cover is not scratched, I was just cleaning it with a wet microfiber towel before taking the shot.)

There are a couple more shots of the Precision here.
