Beautiful white with tort guard Fender Jazz 5er. Tight neck pocket and fit/finish many of the '08s have.
Pickups have been swapped out for Basslines for extra clarity and better B-string definition.

I always had a lower opinion of Fender fretwork, especially up the neck, but this one is particularly nice (I've heard that most of the '08s are like this). I do most of my own setups even when I have a tech, but have only had to re-string/clean this one in since I got it. The truss rod only needed tweaking when I switched strings. It is buzz-free, but I set it up to the Fender factory specs, so it's what I would call a medium action and relief. Initially I had it slightly lower without issue, but tend to dig in a bit and prefer it at medium. |
