Fender American Standard P-Bass, 2008 ... $840 shipped!

Closing this thread ... decided to keep this bass for now!

This beauty is going to be missed by me, as it was one of the first basses I acquired when I got back into bass-playing a few years ago. However, I am more of a "Jazz Bass guy", and my current gig really calls for a J-Bass 99% of the time. The bass is in minty condition, with nary a blemish of any kind on it. It is wearing a set of "bright flats", and faltwounds are all that I have used on it since I acquired it (same for the original owner, who only had it a short while and hardly ever played it).

The bass comes with the original SKB molded rectangular/TSA-approved case, and all "case candy"

Asking $840 shipped to the lower 48 (PayPal included).

Here's a couple of pic's that I shot yesterday (9/7/2011) ... more to follow. If it appears that there are a couple of "dull spots", those are not blemishes or wear spots. I noticed after taking the photos that there was some guitar polish/carnuba wax that I hadn't buffed-off.

photos --

Bump. I used to have the same -- '08, SB, RW. And that's a nice price.

Thanks, Soxhats!

By the way, how is that 60th Anniversary P-Bass? I had my eye on one of them before my extended period of under-empolyment.

I am thinking that you may have a good idea. The more I play this P-Bass, the more I think that I should keep it!
